VIRTUAL SPIRIT WEEK!
HAWKING DAY OF PLAY
Inspired by the short film, ‘Caine’s Arcade', the Global Cardboard Challenge is an annual event presented by the Imagination Foundation that celebrates child creativity and the role communities can play in fostering it. The Global Cardboard Challenge gives children an opportunity to collaborate, learn, and build the things they imagine through a simple process called Creative Play. The Challenge lets children explore their interests and passions; teaches critical thinking, resourcefulness, perseverance, teamwork and other 21st century skills; and brings communities together to foster and celebrate child creativity! Hawking students are invited to build any games they can dream up using cardboard, recycled materials, and imagination.
On Wednesday, October 17th, students bring their games to school and our Hawking Community is invited to come together and play!
