KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS

Hello! My name is Madeline Lambka (Ms. Madeline) and I am the Transitional Kindergarten (TK) teacher here at Hawking 1. I have lived in San Diego for the last ten years and attended the University of San Diego, where I earned both my Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology, as well as my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. For me, teaching was a passion from a young age but it wasn’t until I attended USD that I became immersed in the multicultural and inclusive perspective. It is also where I discovered my passion for teaching the youngest learners. 
   In my free time, I enjoy doing yoga, spending time with family, crafting, cooking, and going to farmer’s markets. I am so excited to have the opportunity to help your child grow, develop new skills, build relationships, and explore new things in the classroom this year. Each year, it is my goal to foster exploration, community, and authenticity in my classroom, all while building meaningful relationships with each student. I can’t wait to get to know you and your child this year!
